Behavioral problems can prove to be a great source of frustration for some pet parents. In fact, it’s the leading cause of pet abuse and abandonment. Companion animals require mental stimulation and physical exercise – just like humans. When pets become bored, they are more likely to be destructive and/or aggressive. With proper training, however, you can reduce, eliminate or even prevent such undesirable behaviors.

Contrary to popular belief, you can train any dog, regardless of age. Like children, companion animals need patience, consistency and positive reinforcement to learn. We recommend that you consult with a professional trainer before you begin a training regimen.

By establishing boundaries for acceptable behavior now, you can improve your overall relationship with your companion animal.
